Edison's Siddha Vaidyasala, the renowned traditional Siddha house of Kerala is considered to be the ultimate centre of Siddha school of medicine and Siddha wisdom. This Vaidyasala (hospital), founded in 1921 by the late Shri. Joseph Kadaksham Vaidyar in the name of his son Shri. Edison Vaidyar has been there at Thiruvananthapuram as a beacon of hope and as an authentic fountainhead of medical wisdom for the last eight decades.
